President Bola Tinubu has introduced sweeping reforms to comprehensively transform Nigeria's education system. The goal is to enhance learning, boost enrollment, develop skills, and secure children's academic futures.

A key reform will be a nationwide census of all schools, from primary to tertiary. This will provide vital data to guide interventions. For example, it will identify teacher training needs, girls' education priorities, and out-of-school children requiring support.

A central database will track progress in real-time. This data-driven approach will enable targeted assistance across all levels.

Other reforms include: educating out-of-school children, upskilling teachers digitally, and implementing a National Skills Framework. This will equip students with knowledge plus aptitudes to thrive in the 21st century economy.

Together, these "DOTS" reforms aim to reconnect and transform Nigeria's education system. They fulfill Tinubu's pledge to revitalize learning under his Renewed Hope Agenda.
